What started as a group of seven women in the year 2000 has evolved into the St. Peter the Apostle Ladies Circle with 20 active and devoted members. The organization was initiated by our beloved Tita Mely, who is actually the mother of our former parochial vicar, Rev. Fr. Peterson Tieng, LRMS. Its first president, however, was Tita Jane Poon.

The Yoke of Love

Today’s Gospel reminds me of our experiments on our Ergonomics laboratory classes. I still recall taking body measurements of people to study specific properties of the human body, as manifested in people’s interaction with the workplace or environment. As industrial engineers, we analyze limitations of the human body and integrate these factors in the evaluation and design of jobs and work environments. Read the rest of this entry »
